This cafe and coffeehouse in Hollywood's Theater Row is one of my favorite places to eat, get coffee, and linger.
~There is a feel of creativity in the air, even when a bad performance takes place on open-mic night. Certainly, the name may say it all, as the atmosphere encourages the 'artist within' to sit and create.~As for The Eats: the menu is strictly vegetarian (except for the tuna melt); food is fresh, healthy, and delicious; the prices are fair; and place smells clean and fresh (NOT like a bunch of dirty hippies).
~The staff have been very helpful, especially when I end up asking for the 'least vegetarian' items on the menu to placate the meat eaters in the group.
~They have busy calendar of events, including: comedians, musicians, and open-mic nights.
Overall: Great Pick; Good Eats!
Very versatile; it's perfect for a late lunch with coffee and a book; or a rendezvous with an old friend you haven't seen for years; or to take in a meal and entertainment.
