What's New These Days....

What is L.A. to you?

To me, she is great and twisted; showing me horrors that I long after while alluding a life of the walking dead...

I am glad to report, I severed some of the tentacles that had hold of me since I left.
.That took way too long.

Review of Cafe Muse in Hollywood's Theater Row

This cafe and coffeehouse in Hollywood's Theater Row is one of my favorite places to eat, get coffee, and linger.
~There is a feel of creativity in the air, even when a bad performance takes place on open-mic night. Certainly, the name may say it all, as the atmosphere encourages the 'artist within' to sit and create.
~As for The Eats: the menu is strictly vegetarian (except for the tuna melt); food is fresh, healthy, and delicious; the prices are fair; and place smells clean and fresh (NOT like a bunch of dirty hippies).

~The staff have been very helpful, especially when I end up asking for the 'least vegetarian' items on the menu to placate the meat eaters in the group.
~They have busy calendar of events, including: comedians, musicians, and open-mic nights.
Overall: Great Pick; Good Eats!
Very versatile; it's perfect for a late lunch with coffee and a book; or a rendezvous with an old friend you haven't seen for years; or to take in a meal and entertainment.
The hallway space used to showcase art at the cafe; perfect for perusing while you wait for a pick-up order to be ready. This brightly-painted and well-lit area is perfect for displaying small collections. Check it out next time you are near Hollywood's Theater Row. Cheers!
