The Week That Was
Last week was a 'hurry, hurry, hurry; just to wait, wait, wait' week for me, personally. This prevailing theme set the tone for me to miss one of the most anticipated events of the year, Timo Maas at Ecco Lounge in Hollywood. Of course, he was on the slate for last Saturday night. Due to circumstances beyond my control, I missed this one; and I have already strained my hamstring from repeatedly kicking myself. So, as far as The Week That Was, I've got nothin' for you...... not even an update as to how good the show was.

The Week Ahead
The big catch for The Week Ahead is definitely the Egotistical Event at the downtown Standard Hotel rooftop venue. That's right, the Standard is gonna be full of alterEgos this Sunday and YOU'RE invited! We are welcoming Justin Martin in to do the honors..... J.M. is personally responsible for 2 of my 3 favorite parties in the last 4 years. Anytime Justin graces the decks overlooking downtown L.A., the event holds the potential to be one of the year's best; even if you are one of the critics out there.
Justin hails from the amazing dirtybird records production team out of San Francisco. If you haven't heard of Justin or dirtybird, do your homework! They are so worth the effort..... Also, I will have links to their music up soon; so you can be lazy and still get blessed with the knowledge. If you have not been to the Standard before, or if you are new to the pool party scene in Los Angeles, please, read this post.
